February walk

Recently Claire and I had lunch at The Amherst Inn (formerly Crown Point) in Seal Chart (TN15 0HB) for the first time since its major refurbishment. The food was typical pub grub and absolutely fine; menu includes light bites and ciabattas although they are not shown on the website; good choice of beers; friendly staff; plenty of parking. So I will lead a walk from there, either over Oldbury Hill or up onto Seal Chart and in either case about four miles, on Wednesday 15th February, providing enough of you sign up. There will be some hills and, inevitably, some bits will be muddy so good boots and sticks are advisable. Meet in the pub car park off the A25 for a 10:15 start.
Please let me know if you are coming and staying for lunch by Monday 13th (you can tell me at the Probus lunch that day).
