After a long stint as organiser of the Thursday lunch doormen/cashiers rota Bernard Osborn is looking to step down at the end of the year, accordingly we are looking for a volunteer to take over his duties. The new Sevenoaks Probus Website is now live, replacing the old website ably managed by Roger Hill who has now stepped down as both Webmaster and Membership Secretary after many years of painstaking and loyal service, our grateful thanks go to him. The new Webmaster is Nick Hawkins, assisted by Roger Woods who is taking over as Membership Secretary.
Members are reminded that the cost of Probus lunches is a direct cash payment between members and the caterers and that these transactions are not part of the formal Probus accounts. Any shortfall on the day of the lunch as a consequence of the non-attendance of any booked members has to be paid for by your Lunch Secretary from his own pocket. Consequently, reimbursement cheques must be made payable to your Lunch Secretary by name, and not to Probus.
Completed membership applications should be sent to the Membership Secretary (Roger Woods) when they are available. They will be considered by the Admissions Sub-Committee and confirmed by the full Committee at its next available meeting.
