Chairman: Nigel Jepps     Our August speaker is Paul Whittle whose talk is entitled "River Kwai Railway".  His talk tells of the infamous Burma to Thailand WW2 Death Railway,  the iconic 1957 film, and many differences between fact and film making.

Chairman: Speaker is Geoffrey Lewry and his talk is entitled "30 years of the Bell Book and Candle-New Scotland Yard". Geoff spent 40 years in the Metropolitan Police of which 30 years were spent on the Anti-Terrorist Branch. Chairman:  Costi Zarifeh Speaker is Dr. Geoffrey Mead and his talk "Landscapes of SE England."  Geoff is an Associate Tutor with the Geography team at Sussex University.  He specialises in the landscapes of SE England in both urban and rural areas.
