The Probus walkers enjoyed a ramble around Addington on 24 August.

The walk was led by Martin Lea.  It started from the Angel Pub carpark in Addington and finished there with lunch.  There were great views of the North Downs and Kentish countryside and we were able to spend time looking around Coldrum Long Barrow, which dates from 3985-3855 BCE (The Long Barrow is over 1000 years older than Stonehenge).”

Save your stamps for Save the Children

Our Secretary Peter Thompson has been collecting USED stamps for Save the Children for over 20 years.  We have collected for him in the past, and there are more stamps at this time of year than any other, so do cut them off your Christmas card envelopes and get them to Peter at the January or February lunch.  The Charity will be so grateful.  Merry Christmas!
